GO OUT AND DO GOOD WORKS

Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another —and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (NIV)

This scripture is clear in what it says, that we should consider how to spur one another unto love and good deeds. And one of such ways it says 'not giving up meeting together but encouraging one another.' 

We are not to give up meeting together (church meeting) because church meetings (services) is for a definite purpose; to spur one another toward good works. We do not come to church just for the seek of it or to fulfill a religious obligation but to encourage and inspire one another unto love and good works. 

The church is the Kingdom's school here on earth where we learn the Kingdom principles to apply. The church meeting is for training so that we would be equipped to fulfill our ministry. When we are equipped we should then go out and do good works; soul winning, healing the sick, setting the oppressed free, raising the dead, casting out devils. Ephesians 4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, (NKJV)

The Bible tells us how the Lord Jesus went about doing good and healing those who were sick. He didn't stay in one place conducting meetings only. 
Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

We should take our church services as training for ministry for that's what it is. And then we should proceed to fulfill the actual ministry by going out to do those good works which God has planned beforehand that we should walk in them, living the good life He made ready and prepared for us to live. 

PRAYER

Lord through our church meetings may we be strengthened, trained, taught and equipped to go out and do good works fulfilling our ministry to the body of Christ and to the world, doing those good works which God planned beforehand that we should do, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
