BE SERIOUS, INTENTIONAL AND CONSISTENT
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. (NIV)
If you will win in life you must apply this above scripture. When athletes compete it is only one person who comes out the winner. For anyone to win he must go into strict training. In your dealings in life you must be strict; serious, intentional and consistent.
First, with the Gospel. Your attitude towards the propagation of the Gospel matters a lot. It is not enough to be interested or even have the desire to further the Gospel, you must also be serious, intentional and consistent about it.
1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
Imagine if it were only the best person who get paid at the end of the month at your workplace. How everyone will put in their best! You wouldn't find anyone joke around during working hours. Everyone would be serious, intentional and consistent. But life is like that. If you must get to the top in your field or endeavour you will have to be serious, intentional and consistent.
Don't leave anything to chance. Do more with what you do. Be innovative, creative and productive. There is so much more in you, and you can bring them out by being more International, serious and consistent.
1 Corinthians 9:25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
Train yourself to be better in handling the things of the Kingdom, and also in handling your personal endeavour, career and pursuit. Some results require strict training, employ strict training; be more serious, intentional and consistent.
CONFESSION
Precious Father I not only get more serious, intentional and consistent with the things of the Kingdom but also in my personal life endeavours. Through the wisdom and inspiration of your Word I train myself to be more diligent, intentional and consistent in my dealings, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
