ETERNAL KING; ETERNAL PRIEST

Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (KJV)

The Lord Jesus actually made us kings and priests unto God and His Father. And we are because He is our head. We are the reflection and expression of who He is. And that includes being King and Priest. 

Jesus is an eternal King-Priest in the order of Melchizedek. And we are in the order of Jesus.  
Hebrews 7:1,3,17,24 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, ...Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever. For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek." but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.

Jesus is an eternal King and Priest. He reigns through us as King, He serves through us as Priest. We reign by Him, we serve by Him.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

David's throne is not in heaven but here on earth. First, in this present age Jesus reigns through us, then later in the one thousand years reign to come. The greatness of His government and peace extends through us today. We are reigning with Christ the eternal King-Priest. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Thank You Lord for making me King and Priest unto God and Father to reign by you in the earth. I am a reigning King and a serving Priest. Just like you Lord I am a king-priest in the order of Melchizedek. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
