SOWING TO PLEASE THE SPIRIT

Galatians 6:8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (NIV)

Sowing to please the Spirit simply means doing things to please the Spirit, that is, following His leading; doing God's Word. 

When one do things to please the flesh; follow mere natural instincts and desires of the flesh it results in death; failure, defeat and damnation. But sowing to please the Spirit is eternal life. 

When it says "whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." It does not mean he will receive eternal life because he already have it. It means he will live in God's presence eternally (hereafter). 

When it has to do with sowing by the spirit or spiritually it really has to do with words. Words are seeds. Here, two source of words matters; words from you and words from the Spirit. Whatever you do with these words are seeds sown. Acting on the Words of the Holy Spirit as He leads you is sowing to please Him which will result in blessings. When the Holy Spirit brings scriptures to your mind act on it.

If you were deliberating on what to do about a particular subject, and He brings to your mind the scripture that align with that subject act on it. That's the answer. Don't delay; act promptly.

CONFESSION

I am continually being led by the Spirit. He guides me through the Word. As He brings the Word to my mind I act on and produce it results; sowing to please Him in all things, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
