THE ROYAL LAW; THE KINGDOM LAW; THE SUPREME LAW

James 2:8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right. (NIV)

The one law that governs the Kingdom of God is love. The Bible says "Love your neighbor as yourself." This is the Kingdom law and it is the supreme law.

Love is all important; loving God and loving people is the way of life.
Mark 12:33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."

It's interesting to know that loving God with your all and loving your neighbour as you love yourself is more important and rewarding than burnt offerings and sacrifices. In fact the offerings and sacrifices of one doesn't love God and people is detestable to God. 

Love is the only debt we owe one another. 
Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Galatians 5:14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Anyone who loves his neighbour as he loves himself wouldn't kill, steal, or destroy. Love is the royal law and the fulfillment of the entire law of Moses. 
When we say ROYAL LAW it means the Kingdom law, and that's the supreme law. Love is the one supreme law. Apply it in your life. 

PRAYER

Father thank You for sharing your love abroad in my heart. Thank You that I belong in your Kingdom of love. Love is not only our supreme law but also our nature, therefore I give full vent to love everyone as I love myself, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
