THE STATE OF A SINNER

Ephesians 2:12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. (NIV)

Reading this above scripture and seeing the state of a sinner should inspire us to go out and win them for Christ. They are the reason Jesus died. Matthew 9:13 But go and learn what this means: ’I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

He came to call sinners out of their state of doom. 
Apostle Paul speaking to the Ephesian church in Ephesians 2:12, reminded them of the state they were before they received Jesus and got saved. It's a state or condition you shouldn't wish anybody. He said "remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world."

The sinner is separated from Christ, excluded from the heavenly citizenship, foreigner to the promises of God, without hope and without God in the world. 
Do they know they are without God in the world? No! How could they? That's where we come in. 
Romans 10:13-14 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

We have to preach to them. We are sent, we are equipped, we have the Holy Spirit. We shouldn't leave anyone in that condition. They have no idea of how terrible their condition is. They have no idea that they are separated from Christ, excluded from heavenly citizenship, foreigners to the Word of God, without hope and without God in the world.
Take every opportunity to preach the Gospel to sinners and lead them to Christ. That's always the first reason God brings you close to the unsaved. Fulfill that noble trust.

PRAYER

I pray for the unsaved around the World, that their hearts and minds be opened to the Gospel as we preach to them. That the Word of the Lord may have free course in them and be glorified, that they may give their heart to Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
