FOCUS ON IMPROVING YOURSELF


1 Thessalonians 4:11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, (NIV)


The Bible says to mind your own business. There are those who wouldn't mind only the things that concerns them. They have trained themselves to interfere in matters that doesn't concern them. A Christian should lead a quiet and peaceful life. The Bible used the word "lead" a quiet life. In other words, live a life that others can emulate. 


Instead of being so concerned about other people's life how they are failing or succeeding why not focus on own life and on ways to improve yourself in order to be successful at the level you are at? Your life is your own business. Nobody is going to run it for you. And you can't run someone's else life for them either. The best way to make an impact in other people's life is your success. Through your success you can help them succeed and even their mere observation of your success can impact and inspire them to succeed. Focus on yourself. 


Make it your ambition to lead a quiet and successful life. Get your hands to work and mind it; focus on it. What more can you do with your work or business? That should be your focus and priority not the affairs of others. Maybe you provide services to people. How will you improve? What more can you do? Find out and do it. As a service provider, how can you improve yourself? If you are a Lawyer, get more knowledge, do more studies, do more research; improve yourself. 


People who truly succeeded in life focused on themselves than others, on their business than the business of others. Focus on improving yourself.


PRAYER


Father I give attention to the work I have in my hands. Through your wisdom I focus on my affairs to be a success and an inspiration to others. I lead a quiet and successful life, being mindful of my business and calling in life, doing the works of the Kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
