INVEST IN THE FUTURE

Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return. Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. (NIV)

Your today was a future yesterday. How it is today is the result of your investment yesterday. How your tomorrow (future) will turn out to be depends heavily on your investment today. Invest into your future. 

Whether or not you invest in your future it would come, but would come empty. As long as the earth remains the law of sowing and reaping will always apply. 

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 11:1-2, "Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return. Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land."

It says "ship your grain", but many people eat their grain instead. If you ate your seed you actually ate from your future. That means you would lack when the future comes. Learn to identify the food-grain and the seed-grain to differentiate what to sow and what to eat. Never eat your seed, that's your future; the investment for your future.

The main reason some people don't have today is because they didn't sow yesterday. Again the scripture says "...after many days you may receive a return...." The return for your seed sown won't come the same day. It comes after many days; that's future. If the future you are now is empty it is because you didn't sow into it. If the future to come after many days will be full of abundance for you it depends on what you invest today. Invest in the future.
The Bible says "Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land." -- Ecclesiastes 11:2

Invest in many opportunities as you can. If one fails others will succeed. It's not safe to make just one investment for the future. The future is big, so put much into it.

CONFESSION

Through the wisdom of God at work in me, I wisely and carefully invest into the future to come. I make plans, projects and endeavours today that will positively impact and benefit my future. Through conscious and deliberate actions I take today I secure my future, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
