A TREE THAT GIVES LIFE

Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. (NKJV)

The Bible says that the last Adam, Jesus Christ is a life-giving spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

Everyone who is born again is in the order of the last Adam, Jesus Christ. That means he is a life-giving spirit. You are a life-giving spirit. When the Lord Jesus walked this earth He gave life people and the circumstances that surrounded them. But how did He give Iife? With His Words; He gave life with His mouth. 

For example Lazarus who was dead for four days. When Jesus came to his grave he gave life back to him by His words. He called him out of death. John 11:43-44 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."

Everyone of us could do that. We can call the dead out of death. After all the Lord Jesus instructed us to raise the dead. -- Matthew 10:8

Your tongue becomes wholesome when you fill your heart with the Word of God. Consequently whenever you speak in alignment with the Word life is ministered. You are a life-giving spirit and you can do just that with your tongue. 

Your tongue has power to give life - Proverbs 18:21. So consciously speak life to anything and life will be manifested. 

CONFESSION

My tongue is anointed by the Spirit of God, therefore my tongue is wholesome and powerful. I am in the order of Jesus the life-giving Spirit, and I am a life-giving spirit. I consciously and always minister life to people, circumstances and things around me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value.
