BEFORE MULTIPLICATION
John 12:24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. (NIV)
The Lord Jesus made this above statement prior to His crucifixion indicating that unless He dies He cannot multiply. In His burial He was actually like a seed sown into the soil, and at His resurrection it was as though like a seed He germinated and brought forth many children to God. In His resurrection the new creation began and we all became God's children.
This same principle applies in every area of life and to everyone of us. Before multiplication there is sowing and dying of seed in order to bring forth many more.
Three main things happens before multiplication; sowing, waiting and sprouting.
Anything you lose or spend in order to get a better return is sowing. If you spend your time studying you are sowing. If you spend your money to buy some goods in order to sell later is sowing. If you give in the house of God or give to the needy is sowing. If you invest into your future it is sowing. After sowing comes waiting.
Waiting is something many people do not want, most people dislike waiting, they cannot wait. Yet waiting is inevitable for anyone who has sown a seed. If you have sown something to bring you better returns then you will have to wait for it to sprout.
We don't often take into account that sowing in any aspect of life is exactly as sowing into the soil. When a farmer sows his seed into the soil he knows it would take days or weeks to germinate depending on the kind of seed sown. Applying this common truth would make all the difference as we wait for our seeds to sprout.
Sprouting is the phase where you begin to see the results and beauty of your labour. And it is just the initial stage before it grows into maturity for harvest. When you see your seeds sprout up continue to cultivate and nurture them through prayer and prophecy. Don't stop prophesying the future you have invested into; keep praying, keep prophesying.
PRAYER
Dear Father thank You for the wisdom to have sown in many different ways in my life. I ask Lord that you multiply my seeds sown and increase the fruits of my righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
