THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it. (NIV)

We should notice in the above scripture that the blessing of the Lord is not the same thing as wealth. For it doesn't say the blessing of the Lord is wealth but that it brings wealth. That's very important to note, because one may be blessed and not have wealth. Blessing is not an automatic wealth. One has to learn how to bring forth wealth from blessing. 

The blessing of the Lord is favour, anointing, grace and ability bestowed upon you by the Lord. You can choose whether or not to bring wealth out of it. Every Christian is blessed equally but every Christian is not rich equally. The difference is in how much you make out of the blessing of the Lord in your own life.

The blessing of the Lord is favour and ability. Read this -- Deuteronomy 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

God gives you the anointing, favour and ability to produce wealth. It is your responsibility to produce wealth from the blessing of the Lord in your life. 

Notice what Abraham's servant said of him, that God blessed him and he became wealthy.
Genesis 24:35 The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.

It is not as though God gave Abraham sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys from heaven. We read all Abraham's account in the Bible, there is no record that God gave him sheep, cattle, silver or gold or anything from heaven. All that he got were a result of God's blessing in his life. Through the blessing; favour, anointing and ability the Lord bestowed on him he produced his own wealth. 

Instead of waiting for the Lord to make you rich, make riches out of His blessing in your life. 

CONFESSION

The blessing of the Lord; His favour, anointing, ability and grace is upon me. And through it I produce wealth. He has given me His ability to make wealth and has blessed me abundantly, by this I bring forth silver and gold, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
