GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU

Genesis 8:1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. (NIV)

It was God who asked Noah to make an Ark and stay inside while the flood destroyed the wicked world of his day. After the flood the Bible says "And God remembered Noah." Did God forget Noah? Did He just realized that Noah and his family were inside the Ark? 

Let us read the above scripture in THE MESSAGE translation. Genesis 8:1 Then God turned his attention to Noah and all the wild animals and farm animals with him on the ship. God caused the wind to blow and the floodwaters began to go down. The underground springs were shut off, the windows of Heaven closed and the rain quit. Inch by inch the water lowered. After 150 days the worst was over. (MSG)
God turned His attention to Noah. It was about turning His attention. He knew Noah was there, He didn't forget that Noah had a challenge. When it was time for a change He turned His attention towards Noah. 
God didn't forget you have a challenge, at the right time he will turn His attention towards you.

It was the same with Rachel. Rachel had a challenge. She was barren for years until God remembered her; turned His attention towards her.
Genesis 30:22 Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive.

Rachel was the wife of Jacob. Jacob was the heir of God's convenant with Abraham (God was with Jacob and Rachel) yet Rachel was barren until God turned His attention to her.

God is with you. If you are facing challenges that doesn't mean He has abandoned or forgotten you. No! Very soon He will turn His attention towards you and give you peace.

Exodus 2:24 God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.
As you pray to Him He will remember the new convenant in the blood of Jesus made for you, and turn His attention towards you. He will bring to pass in your life all the blessings of the convenant in the blood of Jesus.

PRAYER

Precious Father I thank You for You do not forget. May you turn your attention towards me and give me peace, and grant me the desires of my heart, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. But how much of them we enjoy depends on our knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. Knowledge here refers to intimate knowledge which comes through relationship.
