IMITATE THEIR FAITH

Hebrews 13:7 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. (NIV)

All that is written for us in the Bible is for our learning so we could know what to do in a similar situation. In the Bible we have great men and women of faith who through faith accomplished a whole lot. And the Bible implore us to imitate them.

Hebrews 11:32-34 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.

These our faith fathers through faith wrought all manner of victories. And we should imitate them. The Bible says ...Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. -- Hebrews 13:7.
Let us consider David. At the age of seventeen he killed Goliath the most challenging enemy of the Israelites. From then on till he became King at the age of thirty he forth and won many battles. After he became King it was the same; from one victory to another, and the Bible says that it was through faith.

We are a lineage of faith folks. Faith is our way of life. We should therefore intentionally copy our faith fathers and walk in victory as they did. 

Coming over here in the new testament it is the same. Our fathers here Paul, Peter, James, John and all others all walked in the victory of Christ through faith. And we too can. 

In our present day we also find great men and women of faith we can imitate, and we should. We should imitate our Pastors, teachers and ministers of the Gospel who are walking in faith.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus thank You for all the faith men and women in the past and today. I consider the outcome of their life and faith and imitate them. Through the same faith I produce the same results of victory, dominion, blessing and prosperity, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
