THE WONDERS OF WISDOM Chapter 11 episode 2
WISDOM ACTS; ACT NOW
If you know what to do and when to do it but don't do it you are not wise. Wise people do what they should do when they should. Wisdom acts, act now. Act concerning your planned project, the business, career pursuit. Act now!
Don't procrastinate, don't lazy around. Wisdom is not lazy. Don't say "I am planning." Don't plan too much, you can't plan everything. Begin with the plan you already have and other plans would unfold. Don't say "I am waiting for the right time." NOW could just be the right time.
Proverbs 6:9-11 How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest — and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.
One of the resultant effects of not acting on wisdom is poverty. Don't be poor, act on wisdom.
DON'T WATCH, DON'T LOOK
Some people look for the most conducive time and circumstance to make a move in their lives. Such conducive time and circumstance may never come. Don't hinge your progress and next course of action on it. Truth is, you may never have a conducive time and circumstance to do what you should or be what you should. Life moves on under any circumstance, and you should learn to move on under any circumstance.
Don't watch the wind, don't look at the clouds make a move irrespectively.
Ecclesiastes 11:4 Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.
WISDOM WALKS BY FAITH
Wisdom walks by faith. Living by wisdom is living by faith. Acting by wisdom is acting by faith. Remember wisdom is the word of God. Living by the word of God is living by faith.
Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. Don't watch, don't look just move. Make a move of faith. Don't wait untill you see how everything will pan out. That's senses. We live by faith and not by senses. You destroy wisdom when you apply senses (logics). True wisdom is not logical.
It wasn't logical and didn't make sense when God said "let dry ground appear." But it worked. Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.
That's wisdom -- God spoke wisdom and it was active to produce what He said.
2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight.
Live your life by faith; acting on God's wisdom. Wisdom is active.
