THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 2 episode 1

WISDOM WAS BEFORE ALL THINGS

Wisdom is reality. A man's wisdom is his reality. No man live more than his wisdom.
The wisdom of God is His own reality. He speaks and does things in the light of His wisdom; His deeds are deeds of wisdom, His words are words of wisdom. His words and deeds are His reality communicated. What God says concerning your health is His wisdom concerning your health, and that is His reality concerning your health.

God's wisdom was before all things. It is through His wisdom that He created all things and spoke all of them into being. Before they came to be He envisioned and created them in His mind. They existed already in His mind He only brought them forth into the physical world through words and deeds of wisdom. Wisdom is God's mind in expression. The mind of God is the reality of God. Wisdom is the revealer of the mind of God. God's wisdom is a conveyor, communicator and a person. 

Wisdom speaks in this scriptures, let's hear him. Proverbs 8:22-23 "The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be.

Speaking in the first person wisdom apparently says he is a person. Not only was wisdom before all things it was through wisdom that God created all things. 

Wisdom ontinues, Proverbs 8:24-26 "When there were no watery depths, I was given birth, when there were no springs overflowing with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth, before he made the world or its fields or any of the dust of the earth."
God's wisdom had to be in operation in order for all these things to come to be. God had to first see the reality and existence of these things in His mind; and that is wisdom. Through the eyes of wisdom He saw the things that were not as though they were and spoke them to into being. 

Wisdom was before all these things. What then is wisdom? Wisdom is the mind of God made known. When what is in God's mind comes to the fore it is wisdom. When the state or reality of God's mind is revealed it is wisdom. Wisdom is the revelation of God's mind.
God's mind concerning your finances is His wisdom concerning your finances. God's mind concerning your marriage is His wisdom concerning your marriage. God's mind concerning your health is His wisdom concerning your health. And His words and deeds are of wisdom.

Wisdom was before all things. He continues to tell us his experience. Let us read Proverbs 8:27-31, I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when he established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep, when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth. Then I was constantly at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.

This voice of wisdom is obviously not the voice of a thing but a person. Wisdom is a person. It is the Person of God's Word. God's Word is indeed a person. Let us look at John 1:1-2 briefly, it says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."

The Word was with God in the beginning. Wisdom tells us that he was in the beginning, Proverbs 8:23 I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be.

This correctly implies that the Word is the Wisdom, and of course the Word is a Person, the second Person of the Godhead. Therefore the Wisdom of God is the Word of God, and the Word of God is the wisdom of God. And He was before all things.

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO KEEP HIS WAYS

Proverbs 8:32 "Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.
The ways of wisdom are things wisdom reveal or teaches you. When you heed to the teachings of wisdom you will be blessed. It is not enough to listen to wisdom only the wisdom you apply blesses you. God applied wisdom at creation that was what resulted in the success. Wisdom produces success but only applied wisdom. 

Wisdom rewards, wisdom benefits, wisdom blesses but only the wisdom heeded. In all that you do keep the ways of wisdom, follow wisdom and he will lead you into greatness and blessings, for wisdom was before all things.
