THE DAYS ARE EVIL

Ephesians 5:16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (NIV)

The days we are living in are evil; full of evil and wickedness. And the Bible tells us what to do. It says to make the most of every opportunity. How exactly do we do that? Pray and preach. We must make the most of the time we have and the opportunity available to us to pray, and to preach the Gospel in this evil days. 

What most people do in this evil days is to complain and blame others; the government, the leaders, politicians, policies and so on. But that won't change anything for better. Evil days comes with challenges, those challenges are our opportunities. And the Bible says make the most of them. Look out for the challenges in this evil days and take advantage of them.

The primary way we are taught to face and win over the challenges in this days is by prayer and preaching. Praying is prophesying the will and power of God over nations, situations and circumstances of men. Preaching the Gospel gives God the legal right and power to deliver, heal, make whole, bless and preserve. 

We find some people who fall and fail in this evil days. The Bible tells us the only means to stand, it is by putting on the full armor of God. 
Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Verses 14 to 17 of Ephesians 6 list the armor we must put on. And the simplest way to put on this armor is to put on Christ. 

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

In a day like this when evil, wickedness, hatred, murder, insolence, violence and stealing has increased don't be swallowed up, rather rise up and make the most of every opportunity to make a difference in your world. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Precious Father thank You for the enablement and encouragement that the Spirit gives. By Him I am enabled and encouraged to face this evil days and make the most of every opportunity to make a difference and bring a change, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
