THE GOOD LIFE; PROSPERITY AND HEALTH

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (KJV)

The central point of the good life God has called us into is prosperity and good health. God desires these two for us. If you are prosperous but unhealthy you can't enjoy your prosperity. And if you are healthy but unprosperous and poor you can't enjoy your health. A complete good life is prosperity and good health. That's what God declared for you through John the Apostle. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Prosperity and good health is not only a good life God prearranged for you but also a requirement to fulfilling God's purpose for your life. If you are sick you can't do what the Lord wants you to do, if you are poor you can't afford to fulfill your destiny. Yes, you will have to pay to fulfill your destiny. You require both prosperity and good health. As a sick person relies on people to help him do basic things so an unprosperous person relies on people's help. So God wish above all things that you prosper and be in health.

Sickness and poverty are not for God's children but for those who set themselves against His word. But He keeps them in health and prosperity they that live in His Word.
Exodus 15:26 He said, "If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."

God actively and constantly set His favour on you to make you fruitful. 
Leviticus 26:9 "’I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.

The good life God planned for you is prosperity and good health. If you are short of these examine His word to see what you are not doing right, and should be corrected. God wants you at peace, prosperous, fruitful, productive and in health. See to it that you live in them.

CONFESSION

God's desire for me is to be prosperous and healthy always. He looks on me with favour, and makes me fruitful and increase my numbers. Therefore I lay hold on His desire and plan for me, I prosper exceedingly and be in health even as my soul prospers living the good life which He made ready for me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
