HE LIFTS YOU EVEN IN THEIR MIDST

Psalms 3:2-3 Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. (NIV)

We see in the Scriptures how God lifted people to glory even in the midst of their adversaries. Joseph and Daniel are two perfect examples. 

Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt by his brothers, and God lifted him to become the Prime Minister of Egypt. Read Genesis chapter 37 and 41.
Daniel's colleagues in the service of the king conspired against him and have him thrown into the den of lions. But God delivered him and lifted him to a higher place. (See Daniel 6) And the Bible says "So Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian." -- Daniel 6:28.

God specialized in lifting people to a higher level even in the midst of their enemies. It doesn't matter who is against you, or trying to oppress and suppress you God will lift you high above them and their evils. 
The Psalmist says "Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high." -- Psalm 3:2-3. This will be your testimony. God will lift your head high!

David was so emphatic, He acknowledged the presence of his enemies but declared that God prepared a table for him in their midst. They were not going to be determinant; God was going to do what He was going to do.
Psalms 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

God will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. In their midst He will lift up your head high and you will rule in the midst of your enemies. They are not a factor, not a determinant; God is going to do what He is going to do. They are not going to deter what God will do for you, in you and through you. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I acknowledge that God is the lifter up of my head. The Lord is the shield around me, He is my glory, the One who lifts my head high in victory and prosperity even in the midst of my enemies. He anoints my head with oil, my cup overflows blessing the whole world, in Jesus' Name. Amen!
