IT'S JUST A SHADOW

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (KJV)

In the course of our journey through this world we will have troubles, even the Lord Jesus said so, but also said that He has overcome the world for us. 
There are times we are faced with challenges that seems insurmountable, at times it seems that failure, shame or even death looms. But King David in his days had a similar experience. And He declared in Psalms 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

It might be death threatening, it might be failing threatening, sickness threatening but it's a just a shadow. It's not real. As long as it doesn't align with what God has said concerning you it is just a shadow. Another thing to note is that WE WALK THROUGH. We don't stay in the shadow of death but walk through. That means however the challenge present itself keep walking, and walk through it. A thousand may fall at your side but keep walking. The Bible says it will not come near you.

Psalms 91:7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
Don't observe what is falling around you. Don't keep your gaze on the shadow of death, it's just a shadow, keep walking. 

You might say "what I am passing through is so real. I have this challenge, I have that challenge, I don't know how to go about them." Change how you look at them. David said "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." 
Acknowledge the One who is with you not the things that are against you. They are just shadows, the One with you is real, He comforts, strengthens and gives victory.

CONFESSION

I acknowledge that the troubles around me are mere shadows. Though I walk through the challenges of life I fear no evil for Jesus is in me and with me. He strengthens, comforts and gives me the victory. A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but they cannot come near me because the Lord is with me. Hallelujah!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
