FACE THE FACT WITH TRUTH

Romans 4:19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead —since he was about a hundred years old —and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. (NIV)

Ignoring the facts of your challenges is not faith, and it won't change the situation either. Our father Abraham whom we just read about in our opening verse faced the fact that his body was as good as dead, he acknowledged that he was about a hundred years old and could not impregnate a woman, and that Sarah's womb was also dead. He acknowledged and faced the facts. He didn't hide from the obvious facts, and then say "I am not old, I am not yet a hundred years old, Sarah's womb is not dead." Faith is more than that. Faith is not a denial of facts but denying the facts the power to control your life.

What Abraham did was to face the facts of his circumstances with the truths of God. He had to tell the facts the truths, and changed those facts into God's truths for him. Until he acknowledged and faced the facts he couldn't change them into truths. If you run away from your facts and not face them with God's truths they will run after you and embarrass you. Face your facts with truths.

Let's read about our father Abraham again, Romans 4:19-21 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead —since he was about a hundred years old —and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

He faced the facts with God's truth, God's promise to him, not weakening in his faith or waver in unbelief but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God in the face of the facts being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised him.
You are to do exactly the same as Abraham did in the face of daulting challenges, when the facts are so obvious and logically impossible to change, you refuse to be weak or waver in unbelief regarding the Word of God but be strengthened, giving glory to God being fully persuaded that He has the power to do what He says He would. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I do not deny the facts or existence of my challenges but I deny the facts the power to control my life and destiny. I refuse to doubt God's word concerning healing, health, riches, peace and prosperity for me, but strong in faith I give glory to God for I am fully persuaded that what He says concerning me He will also bring to pass, in Jesus' Name. Amen!
