YOU ARE A PART OF THE WHOLE

1 Corinthians 12:12-13 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body —whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free —and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. (NIV)

To be baptized means to be immersed completely into liquid substance such that one is swallowed up completely in it.
When the Bible says "we were all baptized by one Spirit" it means we were all immersed completely into Christ by one Spirit swallowed up Him to become one Body. Everyone of us who is born again has been baptized into the one body of Christ, we all are a part of His body. 

It is important that we understand this truth and relate with it. We are many but one body. Everyone of us is a part of the whole body. We are not a complete body with the others, all of us are needed. Read our theme scripture again. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 says "Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body —whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free —and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."

We are all filled with the One Holy Spirit of God. It is the Spirit who is the essence of the Body of Christ. We all may not live under the same roof but we are all certainly a part of the same body by the Holy Spirit who lives us irrespective of our physical habitation. 

Don't find yourself fighting against or speaking against the body of Christ, if you do you would be hurting yourself. You are a part of the whole. Never say the church is no longer powerful, if you do you would make yourself powerless. Be conscious that you are a part of the whole.
Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
You read that yourself? You are not only a member of His body but also of His flesh and bones. You couldn't be any more one with Him. 

PRAYER

Thank You Lord Jesus that I am a part of your glorious and victorious body. I take my place in the Body, to be what I am made to be, function as I should, being a blessing to other parts of the body. Thank You for the honour and privilege to be a member not only of your body but also of flesh and bones in an inseparable oneness. Amen Hallelujah!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
