LIVE IN YOUR VICTORY

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV)

Jesus' victory on the cross and in hell was for man. Through Him God has given us the victory over sin, death, satan and the world. It is our responsibility to live in this victory. You have victory in Christ, live it. 

It is ignorance to be expecting God to give us victory today over the devil or evil; He has already given us victory, and that victory reproduces itself in our lives as we walk in the truth of the Gospel. The victory continues automatically as we walk in the truth. That's why in 1 Corinthians 15:57 it says 'He gives us the victory' it is a present continuous victory. And it is our responsibility to live in it presently and continuously. 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus' death and resurrection is God's ultimate victory for man over everything that opposes; sin, satan and the evil forces of the world. Jesus' death and resurrection was not for Himself but for man.
Romans 6:9-10 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

In the same way we have died to sin, the life we now live we live to God.
Romans 6:11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
You are alive to God in Christ Jesus with the victory He has secured for you. Live in this reality, live in your victory in Christ Jesus. Thanks be God who gives you the victory through the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Jesus' death and resurrection was all for me. His victory over death, hell, sin, satan and the world was all for me. He took my place so I could take His place. I assume my victory in Christ today, thanks be to God who gives me the victory through my Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.  Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. But a foolish man withhold good.  DO NOT WITHHOLD GOOD Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Good is an element of righteousness. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
