YOU ARE FROM ABOVE

John 8:23 But he continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. (NIV)

The Lord Jesus boldly claimed that He was from above. His Jewish opponents couldn't grasp that let alone believe Him. Even His disciples who ate with Him couldn't believe Him completely until they saw Him levitated into heaven. They were astonished, even their senses couldn't deny that Jesus actually came from above as He claimed. Acts 1:9-10 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.

Jesus truly came from the Father in above and returned to the Father in above. One day soon you and I will ascend into heaven (above) by rapture. This is imminent! 

Jesus ascended into heaven but when He came into this world He came by the Word; the Word the Angel spoke to Mary. Luke 1:31,38 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. "I am the Lord’s servant," Mary answered. "May your word to me be fulfilled." Then the angel left her. 
And the Bible says in John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

The Lord Jesus entered this world by the Word and the same is true of us. We were born into this world by the same Word. 1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

Just like Jesus you are from above. To born again also means to be born from above or to come from above. So when we say we are born again it means we came from above. These are not mere sayings; it's relative, applicable and implicative. This truth has implication; an effect on what we do, say and how we live. 
John 3:3 Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God. (AMP). Did you notice in the bracket that to be born again means to be born from above?

We are like Jesus my brothers and sisters. 
1 Corinthians 15:48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.

As He is so are we. He was from above and above all, we are from above and above all. Hallelujah!
John 3:31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.

CONFESSION

I know it in my heart that I am from above and that I am above all. Like Jesus I came into this world by the Word, I am not of this world. My life and origin is in the Word; I live in the Word, by the Word and for the Word while I wait for His Word to take me home (above). Hallelujah!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this. As we have a wayward woman so we have a wayward man. One who leaves their partner to go after another. There is no justifiable reason for it.
