GOD'S RECOMMENDATION FOR SUCCESS

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (NIV)

Everyone of us wants to be successful in our various endeavours. We even pray to God that He makes us successful. Interestingly God wants our success more than we could ever desire. And He has a recommendation for us which leads to success. 

Joshua took over leadership from Moses, challenged with the great task of leading the rebellious children of Israel. He knew he needed something extra; something more than the ordinary to succeed in his new leadership responsibility. And God told him what he required. "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." -- Joshua 1:8. 

It was God who recommended to Joshua to meditate on the Word as a prerequisite for success. If you are looking for something that would make you a success or make success out of your career, business, job or any other endeavour, God recommends meditating on the Word. 

God wants you to prosper and be successful but He has no any other way to do it than His Word. He needs you to get His Word into your spirit in order to produce success in you, for you and through you. God's Word is God's light. When you give yourself to meditating on the Word it does not only cause light to shine on whatever you do but also makes you a shining light. And when you begin to shine nothing can hide you. 

The Apostle Paul said to the young Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:15 "Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all."
Simply say "if you want to be successful and prosperous, if you want your success to be apparent to all and bless all then meditate upon God's Word."
Whatever kind of success you want will result from your meditating on God's Word and speaking it forth. 

CONFESSION

God gave me His Word for understanding, knowledge, wisdom which leads to success and prosperity. Through my consistent meditation on the Word I am positioned to act by the Word, and thereby make my way prosperous and successful. Meditating and speaking forth God's Word causes my progress, profiting, advancement and success to appear to all, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
