STAY YOUR MIND ON HIM

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (KJV)

Our minds play a very vital role in our lives. Our mind is responsible for our thoughts, words and actions. Some people think the mind only thinks, that words and actions are not dependent on the mind. But we cannot express anything anyway without our minds, be it thought, words or actions. 

When we receive God's Word it dawns in our heart as truth but until it dawns in our mind as truth it cannot get a hold of us nor being expressed in our lives. God will keep him in perfect peace not him who has received His Spirit but him whose mind stays on Him. There are people who have the Spirit of God but still they are not at peace. It is only those who stay their minds on God that He keeps in perfect peace. 

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
The expression "perfect peace" in this verse is from the Hebrew "Shalom Shalom" which means peace with prosperity. This makes us to understand that God can only keep you in peace with prosperity when you stay your mind on Him. Staying your mind on Him consist fellowship with the Word. 

Our fellowship with the Word or in the Word is so important. That's where our mind stays on Him. When you stay your mind on His Word you stay your mind on Him. And the way to stay your mind on His Word is to let His Word stay on your mind. And this happens when you meditate on His Word consistently and passionately. 
Many things will try to stay on your mind and occupy it but you have a choice. You can choose to let His Word stay on your mind, and He has the responsibility to keep in peace with prosperity him whose mind stays on Him. 

PRAYER

Precious Father thank You for giving me access to your infallible Word. As I keep my mind stayed on you and your Word may I experience perfect peace; peace with prosperity in my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice.
