WE LIVE IN HIS NAME

John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (NIV)

The Gospel of Jesus was written and made available to us so that we could read, accept it and believe that Jesus is indeed the Messiah, the Son of God and have life in His Name. Life in His Name is the most important aspect of the Good news; more than the fact that He died for us, more than the fact that our sins have been forgiven on account of His Name, more than everything else is the fact that we have life in His Name. 

The life we live as a new creation is His very own life. We live in His Name! And that means to live in His stead. Living in His stead means to live in His Person, personality, power and place. Think about that! 
It is true the life you now live in this body you live in His place, person, personality and power. 

This takes religion out of it; you cease from trying to become or please Him to allowing His life find expression through you. 
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

When Christ was crucified you were crucified with Him, that your old life is dead and no more. When He was raised to life you were raised together with Him with His life in you. The life you now live in this body is the very life of God. Now you live in His Name. 

Consciously continually live in His Name. That's your natural place to live. God brought you here, stay here and live. All this is from God! 

CONFESSION

I declare with my mouth that I have and live eternal life in the Name of Jesus; I live in His Name -- in His place, in person, personality and power. For I have been crucified with Him and I no longer live, the life I now live is by the faith of Him who loved me and gave Himself for me. Hallelujah!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. If you find a person who is not wise in the ways of God you find a person who has no fear of the Lord. Psalms 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.  Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. But a foolish man withhold good.  DO NOT WITHHOLD GOOD Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Good is an element of righteousness. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
