JESUS CHRIST IS LORD

Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (NIV)

The word "Lord" means master, supreme and ruler. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Master of the universe, He is supreme and rules over all existence. 
The Father has exalted Jesus Christ to the highest place and has given Him the Name that is above all names. At the mention of His Name everything and everyone submits to and acknowledge His Lordship. 

He is not only Lord over all things by conferment but also as the Creator. Everything that was and is, was created by the Lord Jesus. He is Lord over all things.
Colossians 1:16-17 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him; and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

All things consist in Him, that is, they are held together in Him and their continuity is by Him. 
Salvation is by accepting and confessing His Lordship. He died for man and rose to life for man. He is Lord over death, the grave and hell. He is the life and the resurrection. For one to be saved one has to acknowledge and confess His Lordship. 
Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jesus Christ is Lord. As a Christian this should be your everyday consciousness and acknowledgment. Acknowledge His Lordship over your life and live under His Lordship. That means, you don't live for yourself anymore, rather you live for Him as the rightful owner of your life. 
When you live under His Lordship He takes care of you. 

CONFESSION

I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. He is the Creator of all things and He alone sustains the universe, all things consist in Him. And all things, visible and invisible, in heavens, on earth and beneath the earth are through Him and for Him. At His Name every thing submits to His Lord. He is the Lord of my life, and I live continually under His Lordship. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
