FAITH, LOVE AND HOPE

1 Thessalonians 1:3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (NIV)

Our Christian life is enveloped in these three; faith, love and hope, without these there is no Christianity. 
We received the life of God through faith in Jesus Christ and all He has done for us.
We express the life of God through love. In Christ we have received and experienced the love of God. Loving God and loving people is the only genuine proof that we have the life of God. 
Our hope in the Lord's return keeps us aglow for His work and also to endure through difficult times.

Faith, love and hope are central to our Christian walk. 
Our work or manifestation of the power and glory of the Kingdom of God is by faith. 
Our labour or service in the Kingdom is by love. 
And our endurance and patience through hard times is by hope in His return for the church (Rapture).

If you ever lose anything; virtue or attributes make sure these three remain with you; faith, hope and love. 
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Love is the greatest. If you love the Lord you will have faith in Him. If you love Him you will have hope in Him. If you love Him you will do whatever He tells you.
These three remain, that means they transcend time. Prophecy, miracles and the likes are limited to this world but faith, hope and love will still be required in eternity. 

PRAYER

Father I thank you for my work which is produced by faith, my labour and service by love and my endurance in hope. Through the help of the Spirit I keep these three; faith, hope and love in my life, and function by them consistently and continually, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.  Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. But a foolish man withhold good.  DO NOT WITHHOLD GOOD Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Good is an element of righteousness. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
