HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEARY

Isaiah 40:29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (NIV)

In this our Christian walk there is the need for continuous renewing of strength. We face challenges, oppositions and conflicts that tries to weaken us but God has made provision for renewing our strength. Our theme scripture Isaiah 40:29 says "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." 
That means there is the tendency to get weary, there is the tendency to be weak. God knows, so He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Never feel shy, inadequate or inferior when you feel weary or weak. It is only those journeying on the narrow way that gets weary or weak. Never think for once that something is wrong with you when you feel weak, weary or discouraged. It does happen, and God has made provision for your strengthening.

Isaiah 40:30-31 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
As strong as youths are they get tired and weary, and stumble and fall. But if you fix your hope and trust in the Lord He will renew your strength continually. Everyone of us needs renewal of strength from time to time. Our Lord Jesus had to be strengthened by an Angel.

Just before His arrest He knew He had to pray for strength to go through the pains and troubles ahead of Him. When He prayed He was strengthened.
Luke 22:41-43 He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.

In the place of prayer we are strengthened. Apostle Paul knew this well, so he prayed for the church to be strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit. 
Ephesians 3:16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Everyone of us should make this prayer personal. You ought to pray "Out His glorious riches may He strengthen me with power through His Spirit in my inner being."
As you pray strength will be granted you; spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus I rely on your strength. Thank You for renewing my strength always; for you give strength to the weary and increases the power to the weak. Today I ask that out of your glorious riches that you strengthen me with power through the Holy Spirit. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
