SEE JESUS IN ALL THINGS
Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. (NIV)
Our perception and what we see in circumstances and situations matters. If we don't align our perception with God's we see bad and disadvantage even in good circumstances. Learn to see Jesus in every situation, challenge or circumstance. It does make all the difference.
Apostle was arrested, chained and put in prison, but he saw and found good in it. He saw the Gospel advancing through the circumstances of his arrest and imprisonment.
Philippians 1:12-13 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.
Being in prison he took advantage of it, to preach to as many that he came to prison because of Jesus whom he believed and preached. And many believed his message and gave their heart to Christ. Many others became emboldened to preach the message of Jesus all the more because of Paul's courage and commitment to preach even with chains.
You see, Paul saw Jesus and the advancement of His Kingdom in the circumstance that befell him. Do you see Jesus in the challenges that surrounds you? Do you see advantage in the seemingly disadvantage?
Our theme scripture Hebrews 2:9 says "but we do see Jesus .... now crowned with glory and honor...." How you see and what you see matters? Choose to see Jesus crowned with glory and honor in your life irrespective of what the situation might be. See Jesus in all things, when you do He turns things out for your ultimate good.
This also means you keep your eyes fixed on Him; looking unto Him.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
See Jesus in the situation and keep looking unto Him untill He turns it around for your good and testimony, so you could say like the Apostle Paul "what has happened to me has actually served to advance the Gospel."
CONFESSION
It makes no difference what I face or what comes my way I choose to see Jesus in all things. I see Jesus in my marriage, ministry, job, business, children. I see Jesus crowned with glory and honor in my life. Whatever happens with me turns out to advance the Gospel, no disadvantage for me, all things works out together for my good because I see Jesus. Amen Hallelujah!
