HE TASTED DEATH FOR YOU

Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. (NIV)

Jesus' death and resurrection was for man. He tasted death for everyone; He tasted death for you so that you shouldn't. Death and the fear of death should not scare you anymore.
Hebrews 2:14-15 tells us "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."

The Lord Jesus has defeated the devil who had the power of death and has given you and I the victory, so that we should never again be afraid of death. You have power over death; you can choose not to die. When the agents of death (sickness, poverty and the likes) come around you rebuke and reject them. Exercise the dominion and power of eternal life over them. You have the life of God at work in you; it's incorruptible, impregnable and undying. Life works in you.

The Bible says just like Jesus who cannot die again we should count ourselves dead to sin and alive unto God.
Romans 6:9-11 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

You are alive to God in Christ Jesus, He tasted death for you, you have no pending death. You might ask, does this mean we are not supposed to die physical death? Death is not supposed to cut short our days. We have an allotted years in proportion to our purpose and assignment, we are not supposed to leave this world until we are done with our assignment. And when we are done we decide to leave this world, God doesn't snatch our life.

Our time here is to live for Him. He died for us so we could live; and live for Him. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

Spend your time living life for Him not thinking about death. He tasted death for you so you shouldn't. He died for you so you could live for Him.

CONFESSION

I declare that life is at work in me, I have no pending death. The Lord Jesus died for me so I could live for Him. In Him I died to sin but now live unto God in Christ Jesus. I live today and everyday for Him who died for me and rose again. Amen Hallelujah!
