WALK IN HIS GRACE
John 1:16-17 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (NIV)
Everyone of us has received grace yet not many of us walk in it and enjoy its blessings and advantage. Grace was given for a purpose; to change our life and living standards. Grace has exalted us above the natural realm, way or standard of life, but unless we acknowledge this and deliberately walk in it we shall be no different from the world. Choose to walk in His grace.
Out of His fullness, that is, out of everything Jesus got we have received grace to walk in. We have received grace to walk in His wisdom, we have received grace to walk in His glory, we have received grace to walk in His power, dominion and authority. And we have received grace and truth, that is, Divinity and His realities. This is why Jesus came, and this is what we should live for. Take advantage of grace and walk in it.
Let grace define who you are, what you have and what you do. Don't rely on your own efforts, wisdom, connection or riches. They will fail you. Rely on His grace, grace has been given you to make you.
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them —yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
Apostle Paul said He worked harder with grace. He didn't receive grace in vain or left it idle. He took advantage of grace, walked in it and produced results by it. You can do the same; walk in His grace.
Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
There is grace for righteousness. Let us look at it for a moment. You couldn't earn God's righteousness, but through the grace of Jesus Christ He gave you His righteousness. But some people do not walk in the righteousness that came through grace, rather they try to be self-righteous. They want to do all the good things, and do them right to be righteous before God. They want an earned-righteousness. But the righteousness of God which is the true righteousness is by grace. Don't set aside any grace of God, be it grace of righteousness, prosperity, protection. Choose rather to walk in His grace. And say like Apostle Paul "by the grace of God I am what I am."
CONFESSION
Out of His fullness I have received grace; His grace and truth is my reality and experience. I refuse to set grace aside, rather I acknowledge, uphold and magnify grace in my life. By His grace I am what I am, and His grace is not without effect. I work with grace and walk in grace, producing results of grace, in Jesus' Name. Amen!
