DELIVERANCE, HOLY, INHERITANCE

Obadiah 1:17 But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his inheritance. (NIV)

This above scripture refers first to the people of Israel then prophetically to the church. For the Israelites on Mount Zion, Jerusalem, the city of David they have been delivered from the Egyptians and their surrounding enemies. And the city is holy because of the Holy temple of God in the city of Jerusalem. And they have possessed the inheritance (the promised land) the Lord has given them. 

For the church, we are born into God's presence. We are born into Zion. The church is in Zion, the city of the living God, and in this place we have been delivered, we are holy and are in possession of our inheritance. Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,

In this place we don't pray for deliverance, we have been set free from everything that enslaves. We have the Holy Spirit living in and through us we are holy. We have been brought into our inheritance in Christ; and we are in possession of it. 

Understanding this our present state is very important. It will help you to focus on what is real. There are those who continually ask for deliverance from enemy or one thing or the other. There are those who are always praying to be holy, and those who pray to be given inheritance or posses their inheritance. 
A Christian has already been delivered from anything and everything he needed to be delivered from. And a Christian is born into the presence of God with God's life and nature, holy and righteous. A Christian is in possession of his inheritance in Christ. 

We are not those trying to become something or get something, rather we are those who have become and has everything. 

PRAYER

Precious Father you are everlasting and your deeds are everlasting. All that you have done for the church is everlasting. Thank You for delivering the church and brought her into her inheritance, holy and righteous in your sight. Today I function in my place in Christ enjoying my inheritance, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this. As we have a wayward woman so we have a wayward man. One who leaves their partner to go after another. There is no justifiable reason for it. (NKJV) God want you to be established early in life. He doesn't want you behind time or destiny. He takes pleasure when you are ahead not behind in life.
