HIS SEAL OF OWNERSHIP


2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (NIV)


He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us and guarantee us what is come. All these three is by the Holy Spirit. His anointing upon us is by His Spirit, His seal on us is by His Spirit, and He gave us His Holy Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing us what is to come. 


We want to look at the SEAL. His seal of ownership is on us. What is a seal? A seal is a mark, brand or personal inscription. God put His brand on us. 

When a company manufactures a product they put their mark or brand on it, laying claim of ownership to it. 


God created us in Christ Jesus, we are His new creation (new product) and He has put His personal inscription on us, laying claim of ownership to us. Among other human beings that are not born again we are clearly different, His seal on us set us apart. We are easily identified with His brand on us. We are marked as unusual and for unusual manifestations. And that seal is the Holy Spirit.

Let's read, Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).


We are branded as God's own. Think about that! If a well-known and reputable company brands a product it sells fast because of the company's brand on it. You are branded by God. How glorious, supernatural and impactful you can be in your world! Think about it!


CONFESSION


God has anointed me, set His seal of ownership on me, and put His Spirit in my heart as a deposit guaranteeing what is to come. I am God's product; sealed, branded with His personal inscription. I draw attention because I am God's brand. I am supernatural, glorious and impactful; impacting my world with God's presence and glory, displaying His works. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this. As we have a wayward woman so we have a wayward man. One who leaves their partner to go after another. There is no justifiable reason for it. (NKJV) God want you to be established early in life. He doesn't want you behind time or destiny. He takes pleasure when you are ahead not behind in life.
