OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN

Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. (NIV)

If a citizen of America lived in Nigeria his present location won't change his citizenship. Citizenship is not defined by where one live but where one belongs or originates from. Our origin is in heaven. If you are a Zambian but live in Kenya that wouldn't make you a Kenyan citizen. Citizenship is not by the place one live it is by where one is from. We are from Zion and our citizenship is in heaven. Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

The Lord Jesus will come and take us home when our work here is done. And He shall transform this our earthly body to be like His heavenly body. Philippians 3:21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

While we focus on carrying out our assignment here we should keep in mind the return of the Master. We shall not always be here. The Lord will come for us, and we shall be changed to be like Him.
1 John 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

When Christ comes we shall be like Him because we are of the same citizenship -- we are citizens of heaven. This is the highest citizenship because this is the highest Kingdom. Anyone from here is above all else. John 3:31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.

Live with this consciousness -- you are from heaven you are above all; above devil, his demons, evil men, the world and its evils. You are indeed a citizen of heaven -- pride yourself in this truth. 

CONFESSION

I am a born citizen of heaven, my origin is in heaven. And I eagerly await my Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform this my earthly body to be like His glorious body. I pride myself in this truth that I am a bonafide citizen of heaven and live in its glory today and always. Amen!

Chapter 2 ON YOUR WAY TO THE TOP

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end.
