IT'S BECAUSE OF HIS MERCIES

Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (KJV)

Everyone of us takes pride and joy in what we achieve or become. Taking delight, joy and pride in what we achieve is not bad in itself but not ascribing to God His due glory and praise for His role in whatever we achieve or attain is not good. We are here because of His mercies. Of course we put in effort but even our efforts is by His grace and mercies.

There is nothing that we are or have that did not spring from His mercies. On our way to our achievements we offended many knowingly or unknowingly yet we were not condemned because of His mercies. There are things we take lightly because mercies covered the consequences. You lied to your Boss about money or something, maybe you even said God is your witness yet you were not consumed. The Bible says it is because of His mercies. They are new every morning. 

When we find people who are living the wrong life and doing the things we shouldn't condemned them but preach Christ to them. Every good you find in you came as a result of Christ in you. Probably you were once like the bad guys on the streets or even worst than they, yet God's mercies saved you. 
Ephesians 2:3-5 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions —it is by grace you have been saved.

If you were saved by Grace and not by your good works then don't condemn those who are yet to receive that same grace. God who is rich in mercy has shown them mercy and as you preach the Gospel to them they will have the opportunity to accept God's mercies. We all depend on His mercies. If we were to be condemned for our wrongs no one would have been left here. We are where we are and who we are because of His mercies. 

PRAYER

Father I am grateful for your mercies. Indeed it is of your mercies I am not consumed. Your mercies covered my shortcomings, failings and inadequacy. Through your mercies you made me alive together with Christ. It is by your grace that I am saved today. Amen!

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges.
