HE FEEDS, GUIDES AND SHIELDS

Psalms 23:1 THE Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. (AMP)

King David who wrote Psalm 23 was a shepherd. He knew what it is to take care of sheep. He fed them, guided them and shielded them. He told us how he fought lion and bear just to protect the sheep under his care. 1 Samuel 17:34-35 But David said to Saul, "Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it.

So when he said the Lord is my shepherd he knew the Lord would feed him, lead him and protect him. He knew the Lord would go after any enemy just to protect him. 
The Amplified translation reads it beautifully, Psalms 23:1 THE Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

The Lord Jesus feeds, guides and shields you. He feeds you in His Word by His Spirit, He guides you through His Word by His Spirit, and He shields you with His Word by His Spirit. It's all through His Word and by His Spirit. These two are paramount; the Lord shepherd you by His Word and Spirit. Giving full attention to His Word and Spirit, and following will lead you to the destination He destined for you. The Lord is your shepherd you shall not want. 

CONFESSION

I have no fears or worries because the Lord Jesus is my shepherd. He feeds me, leads me and shields me. Therefore I shall not want. I shall not want for grace, I shall not want for protection, I shall not want for required resources, I shall not want for health, I shall not want for anything. Amen Hallelujah!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
