SHINE AMONG THEM

Philippians 2:14 so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky (NIV)

At times we complain about the wrongs and evil happening in the world; the hatred, murder, theft, lies, betrayal and the likes. These are only proof of darkness. And as children of God we are mandated to bear light in this world, and as such convey kindness, love, blessing, life, grace, truth and the likes. 

The Bible says our generation is warped and crooked but that we should shine among them in spite of the darkness. Darkness and its work will continue in the earth unless we shine and prevail over it. The condition of this world and the state of our lives depends on us to a great extent. You don't have to complain about the rate at which evil is growing in the earth, rather increase and intensify the rate at which your light shines. 

God has made you the light of the world. Make up your mind to be just that. Shine forth with goodness, kindness, love, forebearance, glory, grace and blessing towards others. When you do your light will prevail and nations would come to your light and kings to your rising in this warped and crooked generation. Turn on your light and shine forth.

CONFESSION

I am a burning and shining light. I am a light on its lampstand, I shine to give light in this warped and crooked generation as stars in the sky. Nations are coming to my light and kings to my rising, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." (NIV) In life you have to learn to always move on. You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies.
