DON'T HIDE YOUR LIGHT

Luke 8:16 "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. (NIV)

You find people who are good in what they do -- in their endeavour or field of work but hidden. He is a good auto mechanic but has no shop. Another fellow is a great engineer but has no tools. They are good in their profession but hidden. Same is true of some Christians. A Christian is a light; a light that is enough for the whole world but a hidden light has no relevance.

Every Christian is a light but not every Christian is a shining light. Some are hid and shielded by life's worries; what to eat, drink, wear, fame, self-imposed pursuits, and the challenges that follows them. Those who are supposedly to be light to their family, city, nation and world are hidden. For life's troubles they hid their light. Don't hide your light.

Cause your light to shine and keep it where everyone would see by it. Light does not shine for itself. You being light your responsibility is not to shine for yourself, no! It is for others. It is so that through you others can see the glory, grace, favour, blessings and realities of the Kingdom. Don't hide! God didn't call you to hide. When trouble comes up in your locality; it is a manifestation of darkness. And it's a call for the response of light. Don't wish someone else would do something about it. No! Shine forth as light and prevail over the trouble. 

Be the answer in your world and not one seeking for answers. Be the solution, be the light; a burning and shining light. 

CONFESSION

The Lord Jesus declares that I am the light of the world and so am I. I am set on the lampstand to give light to my world. I am a burning and shining light in this world, I shine forth and prevail victoriously over the darkness in this world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges. You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies.
