LIVE IN HIS STEAD

John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (NIV)

Having believed in Jesus and confessed His Lordship over your life you received His life. You are not expected to live it as you deem fit. You now live for Him. Living for Christ is more than living to please Him but living in His stead. 

We live in His stead. That is, we live in His place; we live as He would because He lives through us. The Bible says "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." To live in His Name means to live in His total Person. That is not the same as representing His person but being His representation. Being His representation means we are His empress image; His exact expression. Such that all that He is and represents is expressed through us. Glory to God!

We live in His Name. We live in His stead. That's our calling as Christians. Jesus finished His earthly work and has gone to heaven. He leaves us here to continue His work; and He continues through us. We are Him in the earth; He prolongs His days through us. We only need to assume our place and fulfill it, living in His stead.

CONFESSION

Christ has given me His life. The life I now live is not mine but Christ who lives in me. I have His life in His name. I live in His stead and I live for Him. Through me He prolongs His days in the earth carrying on the work of the Father; saving lives and expanding the Kingdom in the hearts of men, Amen.

(NKJV) God want you to be established early in life. He doesn't want you behind time or destiny. He takes pleasure when you are ahead not behind in life. He satisfies you early, that means, He makes you success early in life.  There are people who became what God wanted them when they were old. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges. If everything else leaves you and inspiration stays everything else would come back, because nothing and no one goes far without inspiration. It's just a matter of time they will come back. (NIV) There are people who say we will find out about God when we get to heaven. But God's Word has already revealed everything He intends for us to know, and whatever else He want us to know in heaven will be revealed in heaven through His Word. God's Word is God's essence. Some wish they could see God and really express themselves to Him. If you were with God physically you would still relate with Him by His Word.
