LIVE ABOVE THE FLESH

Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (NIV)

The flesh has its passions and desires. Those ruled by the flesh are eventually ruined by the flesh. Don't let the flesh control you. The flesh refers to your outward self or human body without the Holy Spirit. You have an inward self and an outward self. Even though you are born again and the Holy Spirit dwells in your inward self if your outward self is not subdued to your inward self it would control you. The flesh (your outward self) always seeks to dominate you. If allowed it would rule over you even though you are born again, and when it does rule it ruins. 

Those who belong to Christ (those born again) have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If you don't know and walk in the consciousness of this as your reality the passions and desires of the flesh would still be expressed through you. You have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires, that's your legal right. But until you act on your right it would not become your vital experience. If you would carry God's tangible presence, glory and blessings you would need to live above the flesh.

Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

Walking by the Spirit is the answer. When the flesh bombards your mind with its thoughts and desires you will have to walk in the Spirit. To walk in the Spirit is to walk in the Word. Walking in the Word is walking in your true reality which stands in direct contrast to the flesh. The flesh says you are a sinner, the Spirit says you are righteous. The flesh says you can't, the Spirit says you can do all things. The flesh says fear, the Spirit says faith. By walking in what the Spirit says you live above the flesh.

CONFESSION

I have been crucified with Christ, and I have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. I am one with the Lord in spirit, therefore I walk by the Spirit, I keep in steps with the Spirit, consequently I live above the flesh and not gratify its desires, Amen.

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there.
