HE IS ALSO A BOSS

John 21:18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go." (NIV)

Jesus made the above statement to Peter and by extension to us today. As a mature Christian you are not allowed to live how you want. Does that mean infants in Christ are allowed to live the way they want? No, but their mistakes are mere reflection of their lack of sufficient knowledge. But the mature Christian is governed by the Word of God.

God gave us His Word, it's a word of freedom. 
He gave us absolute freedom in Christ and it is the freedom to live in His Word. His Word gives us life and we are required to keep the Word.
The Word doesn't enslave or restrict us but we are required to live in the environment of the Word. 

He is not only our loving heavenly Father but also our Boss. He guides and controls our lives by His word. His words to us are His orders we must keep. We answer to His word.
He does not only require us to live in and enjoy the blessings of the Word but also to give account of His Word we have received. We are accountable to the Word. 

God may overlook the wrongs of the babes in Christ but He doesn't overlook the wrongs of the mature --He treats you as a Boss. No one should take the mercy and love of God for granted. He is not only a loving Father but also a Boss.

PRAYER

Dear Father thank you for the blessings and glory of your Word in my life. I yield myself not only to the blessings therein but also to the sovereignty, Lordship and influence of your Word. Your Word is Lord over me. You are in charge of my life; dictate my life and the outcome of my existence, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges.
