WE ARE TRANSFORMED

2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (NIV)

The Bible instructs us in Romans 12:2 to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. That transformation comes as we renew our mind with the Word of God. And the above scripture tells us how that happens as we study and meditate on the word of God. 

Let's read again 2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Firstly, unveiled faces means those who have been born again, those who have been brought out of darkness into His light. We contemplate the Lord's glory in His Word and as we do we are transformed into His image with an ever increasing glory. But what does that mean, aren't we already in His image? Yes we are. We are in His image and we are His image. He Himself is One with us. The word is a mirror which reveals ourselves to us. As we look into the word we see Christ that we are. And the more we look the more He is revealed in our mortal body here on earth.

As we look we are transformed; metamorphosed into the expression of His glory in an ever increasing magnitude. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

As I look into the mirror of God's word I am transformed into His image in an ever increasing glory that comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. This Glory is evident and effectively producing results and glory in my life and all that concerns me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end.
