THE FRUIT OF THE LIGHT

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; (NIV)

Having received Jesus as your Lord God has delivered you from the Kingdom of darkness and has translated you into the Kingdom of His Son, the Kingdom of light. These are two distinct Kingdoms with very contrary characteristics and manifestations. And are known by their respective fruits. 

There are fruits of the light which justifies that one is living in this Kingdom. Both are spiritual Kingdoms and the only way to know which of them anyone belongs is the fruits he produces in his life. God requires us to produce the fruit of the light and it is natural for us, for we are children of light.

Ephesians 5:8-10 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.

Three cardinal fruits; goodness, righteousness and truth, in addition; everything else that pleases the Lord. We are children of light and we are in the Kingdom (dominion, rule, influence) of light, it is natural that our expression (fruit) should be goodness, righteousness and truth always. These three are natural in us we only need to give vent to them.

You are of goodness, righteousness and truth. And you can express them anytime anyday in the power of the Holy Spirit, do so always.

CONFESSION

God has brought me out of the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His Son, the Kingdom of light, where I now live and function from. I produce and express the fruit of the light; goodness, righteousness and truth, and everything that pleases the Lord. Hallelujah!

(NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. (NIV) An Angel speaking to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist and his ministry said many things and one of them was "the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous." His ministry would turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous. The wisdom of the righteous is a mindset of the righteous that pre-dictated their thoughts, words and actions.
