LEARN TO MOVE ON

Genesis 26:22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." (NIV)

The above scripture refers to Isaac who dug wells in the place he lived at the time, which the people of that land confronted and quarreled with him over it. Though actually it was his servants who dug it.

Genesis 26:19-22 Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there. But the herders of Gerar quarreled with those of Isaac and said, "The water is ours!" So he named the well Esek, because they disputed with him. Then they dug another well, but they quarreled over that one also; so he named it Sitnah. He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land."

You must learn to move on from where people disagree and dispute with you over things and even over things that are rightfully yours. You will always find opposers, disputers and controversial people, but these are people going nowhere. Never stop to win an argument or dispute with them, learn to move on from them. 

You may say "it rightfully belongs to me." Yes and true, but that's not all there is to you. Remember as a child of God you can never suffer loss or be disadvantaged no matter how it seem. When you move on God will create a room (a large space) for you to flourish. 

Life is a journey and a walk with God. There are times God prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies but there are other times He want you to move away from them to a larger place because of the great and mighty He wants to do through you.

The time is too limited to spend on unnecessary arguments, disputes and opposers, leave them behind and move on. There is a large room ahead of you; a great expanse to flourish. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Father I thank You for given me victory over opposers, disputers and the controversials. I move on today unto the large room you've given me and I shall flourish exceedingly, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
