RECEIVE MERCY

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (NIV)

God's throne of Grace is freely opened to us. Because we have Jesus as our High Priest we can approach God's throne of Grace with confidence. Mercy and Grace are available at the throne of Grace. Mercy here is not in respect to sin; as in pardon of sins, but God's tenderness and softness directed towards us. 

God's mercy is care, patience, carefulness and concerns towards us. His mercy means we receive help we do not qualify for or even ask for. We are confident to approach God's throne of grace to receive mercy (help that we are not qualified for) because Jesus our High Priest offered Himself as a sacrificial offering procuring for us all that we would ever need. All we do now is to receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need. 

Learn to appropriate God's mercy and grace in your life. Without these two ones life can only go from struggle to struggle without any meaningful result. It is grace and mercy that makes the ultimate difference in one's life.

The life God has given us cannot be lived without divine help; His grace and mercy are His provision of help. If you find yourself in an unpleasant situation look for the grace that fits such a situation to help you in such a time of need. There is mercy and grace for every situation. No one is short of grace and mercy but one must learn to receive mercy and find grace to help in a time of need. 

CONFESSION

Through Jesus Christ I have come boldly before God's throne of Grace and mercy. There is abundant mercy and grace for me every day. Therefore I receive mercy for the situation of today, and I find grace today to help me at every time of need. Amen.

(NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. (NIV) An Angel speaking to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist and his ministry said many things and one of them was "the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous." His ministry would turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous. The wisdom of the righteous is a mindset of the righteous that pre-dictated their thoughts, words and actions.
