HIS WORD DOESN'T RETURN TO HIM

Isaiah 55:10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (NIV)

If this scripture is true, and it is, then God's word concerning you that you haven't experienced is not because it is void of power or it becomes invalid, it must be for some other reasons. Based on this above scripture it means God's word concerning you that hasn't come to pass is still very much alive.
There is no problem with what God has said to do in your life. The problem is not the Word. The Word will not return to God without fulfillment; the word concerning you is around you. 

When a farmer sows seed into the soil, even though the seed is good and potent it still require a good and fertile soil to germinate and eventually bring forth its produce. The word of God is like that. The Word is a seed, and it is ever good and potent. Your heart is the soil for the Word. When God's word comes into your heart God doesn't take it back; it doesn't return to Him empty. But your heart must be good and fertile enough to retain it and produce what it talks about. 

If God's word concerning you hasn't been your experience, it has something to do with your heart and/or what you do with the word that comes into your heart. A lot of people don't know they had to do something with the Word that comes into their heart. It's not enough to receive the word you also have to process it. And one sure way to do that is meditation on the Word. Give time to meditation; see the Word in pictures with your mind. 

PRAYER

Dear Father thank You for the Word you've given and the words you have spoken concerning me. So gracious and glorious are the things you have spoken about me. Through my meditation on your Word I see the light of it and walk in it, producing the results of what you say, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
