LIVE IN FREEDOM

Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (NIV)

Apostle John writing to the church said in 3 John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
This is an expression of the Spirit through him. God rejoices when we walk in the truth, and one of those truths is freedom. 

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. This simply means freedom is the purpose for which He set us free. He wants us to live freely. Freedom from sin, satan, the flesh and their influences. Amongst these three, the flesh is man's greatest enemy.

Most people are not aware that alot of things they struggle with has nothing to do with satan or sin but the passion of their flesh. 1 Peter 2:11 Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.

Learn not to listen to the craving of your flesh, don't yield to its demands. Some people are never free from their flesh. Don't let your flesh control you. Live in freedom.
Anger, hatred, greed, selfishness and the likes are of the flesh. Don't give vent to them. Don't be enslaved by the flesh, for freedom Christ set you free, live in it. Hallelujah!

PRAYER 

Thank You Lord for setting me free. I refuse to be burden by any yoke of slavery. I live free from the control of sin, satan or the flesh. I live in the truth bringing glory and honour to the Name of the Lord, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th SEPTEMBER 2025 IF THE DEAD CAN RISE 2 Corinthians 1:9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. But the Apostle Paul says in his letter in our theme scripture "we rely on God who raises the dead."  If the dead can rise then nothing shall be impossible. What men dread the most is death, and through the fear of death many are still held in bondage today.
