POWER BELONGS TO GOD

Psalm 62:11 One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: "Power belongs to you, God, (NIV)

In this world people seek power but less often do they turn to God. You even find some Christians who doesn't see God as their destination for power. Someone receive death threat, then he wants protection but never thought of God. He thinks God is not fast enough. How ignorant!

True power belongs to God. Some agree that God is powerful but they wouldn't trust Him in a situation that requires power. They just don't know God. All power belongs to God alone. He who made the heavens and earth, and all that is in them is truly powerful. By His great power He raised Jesus from the dead. And this power now reside in us.

Ephesians 1:19-20 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

God's incomparably great power with which He raised the Lord Jesus from the dead is for you and now in you. You are full of power. His power belongs to you. When faced with a daunting challenge stir up His power that's within you and cause it to work for you. Take advantage of His power.
Don't feel helpless. Don't feel incapacitated. No! His incomparably great power is for you, put it to work using His Name. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Father I thank You for your incomparably great power for me. That same power you used when you raised the Lord Jesus from the dead. As I speak to situations, circumstances and devil your great power is manifested through me and I have what I say in Jesus' Name. Amen.

You have to learn how to move on from disappointment, failings, defeat, unfavorable circumstances and opposition. You will have to move on and move away from some oppositions and enemies. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 14th SEPTEMBER 2025 IF THE DEAD CAN RISE 2 Corinthians 1:9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (NIV) The scriptures declare that our God raises the dead. When someone dies it seems it's all over, that nothing more can be done. It suggest that death is the final. But the Apostle Paul says in his letter in our theme scripture "we rely on God who raises the dead."  If the dead can rise then nothing shall be impossible. What men dread the most is death, and through the fear of death many are still held in bondage today.
