REJOICING COMES IN THE MORNING

 

"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." (Psalms 30:5)NIV

 

Beloved, if you have been walking through a season of tears, take heart—your morning is coming. The Psalmist reminds us that weeping is temporary, confined to the night, but rejoicing is the portion of the morning.

 

God's favor is not measured in moments; it spans a lifetime. Whatever hardship you are facing now is just a night season, not your eternal destiny. The darkness you see is not permanent; it is merely the backdrop against which God's light will soon shine brightest.

 

Hold on. The same God who watched over you through the night is the One who ushers in the dawn. His favor is already positioned to replace your sorrow with songs of deliverance. What the enemy intended for your shame, God will turn into your testimony.

 

Lift your eyes. The morning is breaking, and with it comes a new song of joy in your mouth.

 

Prayer:

Father, thank You that Your favor lasts a lifetime. I declare that my night of weeping is ending, and I receive the joy of this new morning. Let my life testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

(NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end.
